Here's a treat for those of you who love Japanese RPGs but can't stand the increasingly bad english voice jobs. This UNDUB has the USA english text with the original Japanese spoken dialog.

This game is surprisingly fun with decent voices.

There was a lot of inconsistency between the JP and EN data, so I had to fix/retranslate some of the script to match. I played through most of the game to verify things but got lazy near the end ... Well, it's probably ok and I doubt anybody wants me to sit on it for another 6 months.

Due to the way the data is packaged a few monster names are in japanese on the field occasionally. I decided it's not worth introducing bugs over.

Battle, event and movie voices are now in Japanese.

Hackers/coders want to contact me? Look for a fluffy kitty.

Consider multi-language or special-edition releases with the original high quality Japanese voices.

1.01 Patch

The first in-game conversation text was broken; this fixes it.

I was worried that this was some kind of wide-spread script bug introduced by changes I made late in the game; fortunately it turned out to affect only the first scene.

(Damnit, that invisible unicode-encoding signature!

Installation:
Extract the patch contents over the original release. The patch contains the fix for both discs.
