Here is a virtual machine that has Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) 8.6. The installation from the DVD to a VM can be quirky so I thought I would put this together for people that don’t want to mess around getting the install to work. This should be used for study purposes only and it has a 50 DLU license. You should be able to get around 10 phones working on this system. The server IP is 192.168.80.10 /24. The vNIC is setup to NAT and that network must be the 192.168.80.0 network. You may have to change your VM Network Settings. To change the Network settings in VMWare Workstation, go to Edit, Virtual Network Editor. You should see a VMNet with the type of NAT. Highlight the NAT VMNet and the details of the network are in the included PNG file. See the screenshot and you will need to mirror your settings to it.This was built in VMWare Workstation 8 with backwards compatibility to 6.5 and later.
